Blaine's Week Off

Blaine took last week off work and we got so much done! It was so nice to just spend the whole week together. On Sunday, April 18th we went to Sparwood for a consultation with the cake maker. I have been trying to find someone to do our wedding cake and it has actually been quite difficult. I found this lady in Sparwood and I was happy with the pictures of previous work that she had done. We met her and spent about an hour and a half figuring out what we wanted our wedding cake to look like and what flavours it would be. I am very excited about the cake!!

I had made a list of things that we needed to get done while Blaine was off, so it was a very busy week! We started our wedding wine! We also met with our contact at St Eugene and went over a bunch of details and took pictures of the ceremony chairs for the florist. We met with a decorating company and found out that we won't be able to rent the decorations that I wanted so I am starting to collect stuff for decorating the room. It will be nice. We also met with a travel agent to start planning our honeymoon. We checked on the status of the dresses and tuxes. We ordered our sand ceremony stuff. On top of all that we repaired a tile in our bathroom! It was cracked so we had to take it out, get a new tile, cut it, and put it in.

Well it was a very productive week!

Cranbrook For Hockeyville... We Came In Third

Cranbrook came in third for Hockeyville 2010. It was pretty disappointing that we didn't win after all our hard work, but we had a lot of fun along the way. Here are some pictures.
