7 More Sleeps!!

Well, now there is finally just 1 week left. This time next Saturday we will be at the airport waiting. I am totally ready to relax. This is our first big trip, going out of the country, together. It's my first time going out of Canada! Exciting!!

Money, Money, Money!!!

I love money!! Most people know that I am a coin collector. I actually collect both coins and banknotes. I mainly collect Canadian money but also have some international.

Anyway since I love all money, I just had to do this post.

We are going to Mexico in 8 days... wow, I can't believe it!! Anyway today I got off work and when I got home there was a message from the bank. My Pesos were in. I ordered them on Monday. Excitedly, I went to the bank and picked up my Pesos and I had also ordered a bunch of American currency, so I picked that up too. When I looked at the book of Pesos at the bank, there were many different denominations but they only sent me fifty's. I will definitely get some of the other denominations when we are in Mexico.

Blaine's first Shaw TV story

Here is the story that Blaine did on his first day of work at Shaw TV in Cranbrook. It's a preview of the WHL first round playoff series between the Kootenay Ice and the Medicine Hat Tigers.

Goodbye for a little while...

Blaine is leaving for Cranbrook on Sunday morning. He will be coming back for the Easter weekend and then after that we will only have a short wait until we fly off to Mexico on April 5th. I can't believe it's only 22 more days now!! We return from Mexico on April 13th. I will be staying in Edmonton until the end of April and then going down to join Blaine in Cranbrook.

Cranbrook

It is now official... Blaine was offered a position at the TV station in Cranbrook, B.C. He finally received the offer of employment letter on Friday afternoon. It feels good to know for sure now, since it has been about 3 weeks since he went down for the interview. We have been patiently waiting but growing impatient as the time passed.

So Blaine will be going down there and starting his new job in a couple weeks! I will be staying in Edmonton until the end of April and then we will move everything down to Cranbrook.

RRRoll Up The Rim season is upon us again! It gets under way Monday, Feb. 25. It's an exiting time of year for many people! Blaine has been counting the days in anticipation... just kidding, but he really wanted me to post about it! Good luck everyone :)

Missing my sister

Yesterday I called her and we talked away the whole afternoon. It's so nice that we can just talk about anything. It was great to just sit and talk. We used to do that all the time in person when I lived in Terrace. It was our afternoon tea talks! I miss you Char!

Happy Valentine's Day

Just wanted to wish everyone a Happy Valentine's Day! Hope everyone has a little bit of romance in their lives today!

I don't really have anything new to post about right now. We went to see Puddle of Mudd on Friday, Feb. 8th. It was so cold out that night!! The show was really good though.

Well, hopefully soon I will have some news but, as of right now, we are still waiting...
