ZZ Top In Cranbrook!!

On June 8th Blaine and I went to the ZZ Top concert! It was awesome! Wide Mouth Mason opened, and they were great too. We actually had two shows here in Cranbrook because when tickets went on sale they sold out very quickly and there were still so many people who wanted to buy tickets so they added a second show. Making Our Wedding Wine!

This morning Blaine and I went in to Wine Works to bottle our wedding wine! We made one batch of red and one batch of white. We had fun and took some pictures during the process!

We Are Going To Kauai, Hawaii For Our Honeymoon!!!

We are going to the island of Kauai, Hawaii for our Honeymoon! I am so excited and have started researching and planing stuff for us to do! We have rented a car there so we will be able to travel all over the island. It is so beautiful! We will be leaving Cranbrook on Sunday, July 18th to drive down to Spokane and then we will be flying out of Spokane on Monday morning! More Yard Work... Finished For This Year!

We really wanted to sod our whole back yard but because of the cost of everything this year, we had to make the decision that we would just do half and then finish the rest next year. The side that we did was really in need! The new sod really makes the rose bush look even better. Here are some before and after pictures!

Yard Work

I love my flower bed in our back yard! Here are a few pictures of it. I have been working on it lots and I just need one more plant to fill in one spot. Most of the plants are there from last year. I only had to buy a few new ones to fill it in!

When my Mom was here visiting 2 weeks ago, she bought me a rose bush. I have been so excited to plant it but I had to wait a couple weeks to make sure that it would be okay spending the night outside! Blaine and I have been waiting to do it this weekend. I think it looks great and I am so happy to finally have my rose bush! I wanted to get one last summer but we weren't able to do it.

And after!! We just have to fix the grass around it but I think it looks great. I love the bricks. We have had this idea since last year so it is great to finally see it!

It was getting dark by the time I got to take pictures of the flower but it still looks beautiful! And they smell wonderful.

2 Months!

It's May 17th which means that there is exactly 2 months until our wedding! I am looking forward to seeing everyone and having this wonderful celebration of our love and commitment.

Thoughts Of The Week

Last week my Mom came to visit us and I had such a good time. It was so nice to spend time with her! Thank you to my Mom for coming, and for the beautiful thing you bought for me. I am so glad that I was able to show you everything!

I started working on my flower bed yesterday and can't wait to add a few more plants! I have got it looking pretty good but there are a couple spots that need to be filled in. Also I am so excited about my new rose bush! My Mom bought it for me when she was here. It is a pink New Zealand Rose and the flowers are going to be beautiful. On the long weekend Blaine and I are going to spend some time working in the back yard and this is when we are planning to plant the rose bush. I have wanted one for so long!

This weekend we are getting a new hot water tank! This is very exciting. We have needed a new one for quite a while and finally we are doing it. We are picking it up on Friday and then on Sunday Blaine is going to install it with some help from a buddy of his. I hope it all goes smoothly!

The weather has been beautiful! This weekend it is supposed to be 22 degrees and sunny on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The nice weather continues into next week too!
