The Boys of Summer

So continuing on with our weekend visit, on Saturday, June 16th, we went to the Whitemud Outdoor Amusement Park in the morning. We were going to go drive the go carts, but it just happened that shortly after we got there, and got our tickets, we were in the go cart line and it started to rain. They ended up closing down the go carts because the track was too slippery and people were wiping out. We decided to come back another day.

We went home and ate, and then headed out to the Edmonton Cracker Cats ball game for the evening. It was a good time and we got great seats too!! It's nice to just sit and relax at a baseball game on nice summer evenings.


Here is the score board, only in the fourth inning. They were playing the Calgary Vipers. At the end the Edmonton Cracker Cats ended up losing after 10 innings ; - (
